Created as a response to these demands, it combines a light shape, comfort and affordable quality, which makes it an excellent choice for office projects of any scale. EIRA is not only a comfortable but also a conscious solution: up to 43% of its components are made of recycled materials, and the construction itself is designed for a long service life and subsequent recycling at the end of its life cycle.

Working on EIRA, the Alegre Design studio strove to find a balance between form and purpose — to create a chair that fits organically into different interiors while remaining comfortable in everyday use.
The minimalist construction and light silhouette emphasise the aesthetics of the modern office, while the carefully considered proportions of the backrest and seat provide visual harmony and comfort. EIRA is a combination of precisely calibrated design solutions in which aesthetics serve function, and function serves the human.
Functions that provide intuitive comfort
When choosing office furniture, ever more attention is paid to ergonomics — not only as maintaining correct posture but also as ensuring natural movements and everyday comfort. The most difficult task is to find a universal, comfortable solution for different users, especially when one workplace is used by several people or works on a rotation principle.
EIRA is equipped with an ergonomically shaped backrest that adapts to the body’s contours, supports a healthy seating position and provides natural freedom of movement. A synchro-mechanism that automatically adjusts to the user’s weight, a height-adjustable lumbar support, adjustable 2D or 3D armrests, and a headrest make it easy to adjust the chair to individual needs.
Flexible adaptation that supports creative freedom
For architects and designers, it is important that furniture not only performs its function but also opens up space for creativity when designing the working environment. Thanks to its universal design, EIRA easily adapts to offices of different scale, type and style — from individual workplaces and collaboration zones to executive spaces.
