We are glad to announce that NARBUTAS intends to add to its standard range of finishes the Cyber collection of sustainable fabrics from the world-famous Danish fabric manufacturer Gabriel. Cyber fabrics come in a wide colour palette and stand out for their unique modern design, so they are perfect for soft furniture.
 | Sustainability as the most important characteristicIf you touch the soft Cyber fabrics, it would never occur to you that they are made of 100% plastic, or more precisely of recycled polyester (PES), which is produced from used plastic bottles. Moreover, it is not only the raw material for these fabrics that is sustainable. The Cyber production process also has minimal negative impact on the environment, so these fabrics have even been awarded the EU Ecolabel. What is more, the fabrics have been certified to the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, which is a globally harmonised independent testing and certification system for raw materials and textile products. Made of recycled plastic, Cyber fabrics can be recycled again. All that is needed for this is to separate the fabric from the worn-out piece of furniture and sort it correctly. |
A modern design

These fabrics are woven from yarn of different colours, with each fabric having a predominant colour and undertones that contrast with or slightly complement the overall colour scheme. Designed for long-term use
The introduction of a 10-year warranty links the durability of NARBUTAS products with sustainability. Cyber fabrics are among the fabrics that meet the highest requirements, since their strength is rated at 120,000 Martindale units. Moreover, furniture upholstered in these fabrics can be freely cleaned and disinfected at a temperature of 74 °C. Flammability tests of the fabrics using cigarettes and matches were also carried out. Durability, longevity and ease of cleaning and disinfection make it possible to use these fabrics in offices and other public spaces.
