A concept inspired by the “resimercial” office design trend
The OFY collection was created by the Alegre Design studio, inspired by the fashion for “softer” office spaces. People strive for their workplace to resemble homely cosiness, so “resimercial” office design, combining residential and commercial styles, is becoming ever more popular. Such interiors include various design elements aimed at creating a more comfortable, cosy office atmosphere. OFY successfully bridges this gap, creating a cosy environment that matches the changing preferences in workplace design and helps improve the wellbeing and productivity of employees. The OFY chair collection, with its soft, elegant shapes, comfortable upholstery and excellent ergonomics, perfectly reflects this trend.
Creating cosiness through a synthesis of design elements
Every detail is carefully selected to create an atmosphere of cosiness. Unlike most NARBUTAS office chairs, OFY chairs do not use a mesh backrest. Instead, cosiness is achieved through a combination of a fabric-upholstered backrest and a soft, rounded seat.
A unique backrest frame gives the collection recognisability
OFY chairs have a sculptural backrest frame that wraps around the chair from behind, creating a recognisable image. This makes it easy to combine and match chairs in various spaces while maintaining a unity of style.
The frame, armrests and base form a cohesive composition
The frame of OFY chairs is available in black and grey and can be combined with a base of the same colour, as well as with built-in or fixed armrests. This makes it possible to create an elegant, refined design that gives the overall composition completeness and visual integrity. The variety of finishing fabrics makes it possible to create any mood. OFY chairs combine perfectly with soft office furniture such as desk partitions and other interior items.
Meeting the most important ergonomic needs

Every user can adjust the chair to achieve an optimal level of comfort. When creating OFY, all aspects were taken into account so that office employees can work comfortably even during prolonged sitting.
Synchronous mechanism
The built-in synchronous mechanism automatically adjusts to body weight, providing the most ergonomic sitting posture. The user can also lock the backrest in five of the most comfortable positions.
Seat depth adjustment
You can choose a chair with a fixed or depth-adjustable seat, which makes it possible to adapt it to individual needs.
Adjustable lumbar support
To provide maximum comfort and quality support for the spine, we have neatly integrated an adjustable lumbar support into the work and executive chairs. The smoothly adjustable lumbar support is set with a minimalist button.
Non-adjustable and adjustable armrests
Two types of non-adjustable armrests have an elegant, refined design. For those who want to adjust the armrests for maximum comfort, armrests with one-direction adjustment (up/down) or three-direction adjustment (up/down, forward/back, sideways up to 30°) are available.
Sustainability
OFY chairs are designed for long-term use and equipped with all the basic functions, which guarantees their comfort and durability. When the chairs go out of service, they can be disassembled by 90% and recycled, ensuring sustainable end-of-life furniture management.
